Notta...

After the mountaintop experience of the commissioning ceremony, on Wednesday night, we found out Thursday that our buyers financing had been rejected. This was a particularly difficult blow, knowing that he had submitted a pre-approval letter when we signed our contract. But, for whatever reason, he had entered into an application process with a different bank and now has had a different result.

We're not really sure what the implications are on the company side of the process. We do know that the company has decided to slow down the process of appointment as giving was down a bit this last year. We hope that does not affect us, but we're not sure.

Please pr*y that we will see a miracle and that we will not put our hope in any of these peripheral entities.

We're here!

We've arrived in Denver for our appointment week, including the commissioning ceremony on the 20th. We've agreed to the extension to the closing date. The latest date for the closing date is now June 15th. Hopefully we'll close before that date. It sounds like things are still "ago" with the buyers financing. That's the reason we signed the amendment to extend the contract. We still need your pr*yer and the L*rd's provision. Thank you so much for lifting us up. We can certainly feel the effects of your pr*yer.

Pr*ying...

The original closing date was set for May 15. That date will not take place now, due to the buyer switching banks so that he can participate in the first-time home buyers program. The buyer has asked for an extension. If we don't see proof of progress taking place by this Friday, we will not agree to the extension, thereby closing the deal. We've foregone possible job opportunities as we feel that G*d is going to take care of the sale of our house in time. We're simply waiting to see the fruit of our patience and G*d's action. Please continue to pr*y with us. In addition to pr*ying, you can click on the advertisements posted on the right-side of our blog. We get a kick-back for the number of "clicks" on these links. It's a way to earn a little extra, while doing very little!

Still waiting...

We're still waiting for the buyers' information to go through. Hopefully, things will progress quickly. We cannot move the big items out until we get the "green light".

Snag...We hope not.

Not all agents are as good as ours. Our latest dealing in the process is waiting to receive the green light from our agent to move furniture out. But, we can't do this until we get the Refusal of Unacceptable Conditions form. I believe he has now received that document, but that was not the case before yesterday. Also, today we found out that...we hope to find out more on Monday. If our buyer can clean up the $600 in uncollected funds (for whatever debt source) early this week, we're still ago and should be able to begin moving things out this week. The only problem is that we would have to close a little later. Hopefully this won't push us beyond the end of the month. I certainly don't want to make another month's payment on the mortgage. Please pr*y that God will continue to work in this situation. In and of my own abilities, this process would go nowhere. But He's in control. Please also pr*y that my (Rick's) legs and ankle hold(s) up as I'm running more as the stress mounts.
