A few little things...

Why not write a little while the kids are up at 3am

Last night, we had a good dinner with some other company folk. It was your classic South Asian dinner of spaghetti, green beans and corn! Little things like that help one to adjust so it was a nice meal. We're getting ready to attempt laying the kids back down after an hour of running around behaving as if they just traveled around the world...imagine that.

Here are some pictures of the guest house we're staying in for a time and also of our travels.

Please pr*y that our "clocks" adjust and that we continue to enjoy the good health that we're currently enjoying.

  1. Why are you in a guest house? Tell kiddo's we miss them already.

  2. The pictures did my soul good. Lovin the KC Royals hat! I'll be praying about the internal clocks. Quick question - is it O.K. for me to reproduce the cards Val sent for people in the association? Several are asking. One SS class (taught by a gal from women's retreat)in St. Jo wants to adopt your family. How cool is that? Dee Neal had no idea about your venture and she wants a card and for me to say hi to Val. D was excited to the cards in the mail and will be thrilled to see the kids pics. He's praying and missing his friends but he's very, very proud of them and really puffs out the chest when he tells about them. It was 38 degrees here this morning...crisp but the sun is shining. I prayed this prayer/verse for you all last night:Lord God, I desire that these things will be remembered before You: by my work produced by faith, my labor prompted by love, and my endurance inspired by hope in my Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thess 1:3. I think it's going to be our family's verse for you in this season. Finally - Scott Murphy, (younger brother of Clint's best friend that died 2 years ago) has been attending Clint's S.S. School class and our Tues. night bible study. He went forward last week and is being baptized this Sunday. Things got a little confrontational last night about wheat and tares and the sphere of professing believers vs. true believers. He got offended but hopefully the Spirit is working and he will work out his salvation. We don't know his heart but he's coming and responding and that is answer to all of our prayers. Last time we spoke I said that Clint was at the end of his job; well, God kept him on and now today is the end; we're praying that it will be extended yet again. If not, he'd be pleased as punch to run one of the many combines that are rolling all around us. :-) Lator Gators
