Grand Safari

Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to go to a national park/zoo. We enjoyed our first bus trip, as a family. It's amazing what one can do for a much smaller amount of money, here!
This is right before I put money in the elephants trunk for him to give it to his trainer!
These guys always look so confident...why?
I'm glad we were in a caged bus while this was going on!
The zoo continued at home, when we found this itty-bitty lizard (sorry it's blurry) running around the apartment. E is holding it in her hands.
Thank you Grandma Karen and Papa! Highlights magazines have never lived up to their name as they did on the day this box arrived; Hot Tamales have never been sweeter; and Josh Groban has never sounded better.

  1. Hey guys. I just found your blog. I'm excited.
Currently I'm in Haiti for two weeks.
Our quarter at UCLA was our best quarter yet.
Of course, I want to wish Valerie a very happy
    birthday. All the best,
    Uwe
